Dr. Anita Scheer was born and raised in New York where she received her undergraduate education. She then went on to attend Life University, in Marietta, Georgia and graduated in 2006 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. She has extensive post doctorate study in pediatrics and pregnancy through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association, where she obtained certification Webster Certification. She is also a certified Focus Academy Doctor.

After a year in family practice in Georgia, Dr. Scheer moved to Northern Arizona to open a family practice in Chino Valley, Arizona. After practicing for there 14 years, she decided to open Thrive Family Chiropractic in Prescott, Arizona to specialize in the needs of women’s health, pregnancy, families, infants, and those with social, learning, and behavioral challenges.

Dr. Scheer always knew she wanted to positively impact the life of others. She is beyond grateful to do so through neuro-based chiropractic, education, and empowering her practice members to believe in their bodies’ own ability to heal. She has found passion with families, women and children and has focused her studies on creating a multi-pillar program to increased health and quality of life of women and children.

She believes that rather than live in a world where we allow symptoms and diagnoses to run our lives, we can decide to be an active participant and take control of our health and life.

Dr. Scheer’s heart is happy living in such a beautiful area as Northern Arizona. She enjoys hiking, camping (glamping 😉), traveling to new places, photography and learning…always learning!
